A Must Read Before Posting Try-Out Info
Without question, this website is invaluable to our task. Whether it’s staying updated on Tourney weather events, using it to help fill holes in our rosters with Guest players, having general discussions with the softball community, a little cartoon humor once in a while and/or finding nuggets of information that make us better at what we do. Most importantly, and because it’s that time of year, to help find players to fill our team roster spots for next years team via the Try-Out Forum.
As all of us know, it costs us money to keep this website up and running. So with the above in mind, your BOD of the Coaches Association has made a decision to Anniversary the annual Coaches contribution from July 15th through July 14th of the next year. Despite our efforts to get most/many/majority/all of the Colorado Softball Coaches involved in this contributory effort, only a small number of Coaches have elected to participate. That means the very few are supporting most of the cost of the website for the many. Your Board of Directors has discussed this topic and do not think that is the fairest way to make this website viable and lasting. So the best way for us to assure a better outcome and participation, is to only allow Try-Out postings from Coaches who have contributed to the website expense.
So starting immediately, the BOD will be monitoring Try-Out postings to see if your website User Name is labeled with Paid Member 08-09 Season. If it’s labeled 06-07, 07-08 or has no label at all, it’s time to get a wiggle on. Let’s keep this website a tool we can use for now and in the future. Many of you have already begun to send in your contributions for the 2008-2009 Season and your User Name has already been tagged as Paid. Your BOD thanks you.
Plan ahead, if you are planning to pay by check, you can get that form here, Please allow mail delivery time before posting your Try-Out info.
If you are able and willing to pay through Pay Pal, you can access that area here, With Papal, we can quickly tag your User Name with the “Paid” label so you can be on your way to posting your Try-Out information almost immediately.
Your Board of Directors thank you for everything you do to grow the sport of Fastpitch softball here in Colorado. Good luck in States, Nationals or Worlds, and may all of us find our Try-Outs busy and plentiful
